This article presents the phenomena of initiation and propagation of a crack in the pavement in the Sahel area. The stability and durability of the asphalt pavement coatings depend mainly on its resistance to stress, time and specific site for extreme conditions, such as climate peculiarities in different regions. These types of solicitations lead to dangerous deterioration in the working layers and remain major concerns of project owners.
