EXACT SOLUTIONS OF A COMPOSITE RIGHT/LEFT-HANDED NONLINEAR ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION LINE
We propose a model of composite right/left-handed NETL and show from the discrete equations of the line that it is a dual pass-band filter with a dual behavior: non- and metamaterials behaviors. The study reveals the metamaterial property of the model at low frequencies. Based upon the separation of time and space variables, we determine exact solutions describing the propagation in the balanced state of the line using the sine-cosine and the Jacobi elliptic methods. It comes some particular solutions as breathers, time alternating kink-antikink evolutions and multi-peaked breathers.
