We give a useful analytical solution of two eigenvalue problems formulated as integral equations derived from an integrodifferential equation arising from a collision operator. The corresponding eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are given and it is shown that the systems of eigenfunctions fulfill the closure property. By this way, an analytical solution of so far unknown integral operator is presented.
