ONE-STEP SYNTHESIS OF SILVER NANOPARTICLES USING LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT COMPOUNDS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
Silver nanoparticles having high conductivity were synthesized by a simply method using gallic acid, and dispersing agent to form nanoparticles with desired size was not used in the aqueous chemical reduction method. The nanoparticles were characterized using transmission electron microscope (TEM), energy dispersive X‑ray spectroscopy (EDS) and so on. Uniform nanoparticle sizes of less than around 10 nm are easily obtained. Owing to not using any organic solvent in the procedure process, the reduced silver nanoparticles can be easily separated from reaction mixture only by drying the solvent within a short time at room temperature.
