A CRITERION FOR FINITELY MANY POINTS TO BELONG TO A COMMON w-LIMIT SET

Abstract:

In the study of one-dimensional dynamics, one of popular areas is in w-limit sets. It is important to know when a point belongs to an w-limit set. Šarkovskii gave a remarkable criterion for a point to belong to an w-limit set (see [13]). We would like to know when a set of finitely many points belong to a common w-limit set. A generalized criterion is given in this paper.
