FLOW OF NON-NEWTONIAN FLUID BETWEEN PARALLEL PLANES
Non-Newtonian fluids, i.e., viscous fluids which rheological equation is different from Newton’s equation, are widely spread. Such fluids are suspensions, sludges, melting of high-molecular polymers, paste, cement and other materials which belong to the class of soft matter.
In this paper, we propose rheological law, which is a generalization of Newton, Bingham and Ostwald laws. Through the example of fluid flow between parallel planes is shown the possibility of using this law for technological parameters calculation of filling processes by non-Newtonian fluids of narrow gaps.
