HE’S HOMOTOPY PERTURBATION METHOD FOR PREY AND PREDATOR PROBLEM CONSIDERING REAL LIFE SITUATIONS
Homotopy perturbation method is a novel approach that provides an approximate analytical solution to differential equations in the form of an infinite power series. In this paper, the prey and predator problem has been theoretically investigated via homotopy perturbation method considering real life situations. Efficacy of He’s perturbation technique has been evaluated for nonlinear Volterra differential equations governing the research problem. The results have been compared with the previous work for a specific case. The reliability and the simplicity of the homotopy perturbation method have been illustrated as presenting some plots for the populations of prey and predator versus time.
