MODELLING HYDROMAGNETIC FLUID FLOW THROUGH A CHANNEL WITH PARALLEL POROUS PLATES
A mathematical model of hydromagnetic flow through a channel with parallel porous plates and heat transfer taking into consideration the effect of viscous dissipation, an inclined magnetic field and a constant injection-suction velocity is considered. The effects of various non-dimensional parameters on temperature and velocity profiles are discussed. The governing differential equations are solved analytically and the profiles presented graphically. It is found that both velocity and temperature decrease with increase in the angle of inclination of the magnetic field.
