ESTIMATING FALSE POSITIVE AND FALSE NEGATIVE ERROR RATES USING LOGISTIC REGRESSION
When diagnostic test results are used as responses in a logistic regression setting, the estimated probabilities are probabilities of a positive test result rather than the probabilities of the event. In this paper, we develop a method of estimating false positive and false negative error rates using the methods of the randomized response procedures.
