LINEAR MAPS PRESERVING INVERSES OF MATRICES OVER FIELDS

Abstract:

Let F be a field with at least four elements and M_n(F)be the n ? nfull matrix algebra over F. In this paper, we determine the forms of linear maps from M_n(F)to M_n(F)preserving inverses of matrices.
