In this paper, we study the spectrum of the differential operator arising in the exponential stabilization of the following hyperbolic partial differential equation with boundary conditions Using the finite element method based on the variational formulation of the eigenvalue problem, we build a numerical scheme and investigate the eigenvalues locus as a function of the positive feedback parameters a and b.
