In this paper, we propose a new method for solving linear second-order Fredholm type integro-differential equations with separable kernel. Improved homotopy perturbation method (IHPM) and Laplace transform are applied to develop a new effective technique. The results reveal that the proposed method is very simple and gives the exact solution.
