SrFe12O19 was widely used in the fabrication of commercial permanent magnets and certain microwave devices. In this paper, the SrFe12O19 nanopowder was produced by sol-gel combustion method and the effect of sintered temperatures, such as 600, 800 and 1000ºC, on structural and magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 were investigated by XRD, SEM and VSM measurement. Saturation magnetization value of 54.7 emu/g and coercivity value of 2895 Oe were achieved for the sample sintered at 800°C and 28 nm grain size.
