We describe statistical analyses conducted on MOMI2 (MOnth MOnitoring Myocardial Infarction in MIlan) survey, a collection of data concerning patients admitted with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) diagnosis in one of the hospitals belonging to the Cardiological Network in Milan urban area. Principal aims of this study are statistical analysis of health-care process indicators and identification, from a statistical perspective, of the most important prognostic factors for two principal outcomes (in-hospital survival and reperfusion efficacy), in order to support strategic decisions of hospitals health-care governance. The statistical analyses performed on MOMI2 survey supported also clinical tenet that an early pre-alarm of the Emergency Room is an essential step to improve patient's clinical treatment.
