CRITERIA FOR RAPIDLY CONVERGENT SEQUENCES TO BE LINEARLY UNRELATED

Abstract:

The paper deals with criteria for the linear independence of rapidly converging infinite series of positive rational numbers. The proof uses the methods of approximation theory and is not based on divisibility and recurrences.
