NOTE ON A FONTANA-HUCKABA?S OPEN PROBLEM
In [Non-Noetherian Commutative Ring Theory, Chapter 8, pp. 169-197, Kluwer Academic Publishers, 2000], Fontana and Huckaba proposed the following:
Problem.
Characterize Fμ/span> LS(D) such that 꼯span>F f = (꼯span>F)f .
They noted that if F is of finite type, then F satisfies this property. Here we shall call this property(FH)-property and we shall give an equivalent condition for F to satisfy (FH)-property.
