Abstract: In this paper, a generalized
-expansion method is proposed to obtain exact solutions of nonlinear evolution
equations. We choose the
- dimensional BBM equation to illustrate the validity and advantages of the
proposed method. Solutions in more general forms are obtained. It is shown that
the proposed method is direct, effective and can be used for many other
nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
