INVESTIGATION OF THE CREEP PARAMETERS OF THERMAL BARRIER COATINGS

Abstract:
Finite element method was used to investigate the creep behavior when bending creep testing impressed into thermal barrier coating (TBC) systems. Show how bending creep testing can be used to determine the creep parameters of material. Our emphasis was focus on the procedure to determine the creep parameters of TBC layer. Using FEM simulate this method. Show the Mises stress of bending creep testing and the creep parameters of BC and SUB layers. Prove this method is viable.
