SOME CONGRUENCE PROPERTIES OF THE NUMBER OF CYCLIC COMPOSITIONS

Abstract:

If n is a positive integer, let ï¿½denote the number of cyclic compositions of n. We obtain theorems concerning the nature of ï¿½(mod 4), also ï¿½(mod p), where p is a Fermat prime.
