Abstract: In
this paper, we consider a two dimensional flow produced by a submerged source
under a free surface in a potential flow of finite depth where we assume a
stagnation point above the source on the free surface. Both the effects of
gravity g and surface tension T are taken into account. We
computed accurate numerical solutions with surface tension (i.e., )
via a series truncations. However, solutions are found for all values of the
Froude number and
the Weber number For
the
results of Mekias and Vanden-Broeck [5] are
reproduced and confirmed.
