ON CORRECTION OF REPEATED BURST ERRORS IN MULTIPLE BLOCKS
Various error control techniques have been developed for providing better communication systems. Keeping in view that errors are more likely to occur repeatedly in clusters (bursts), repeated bursts were developed. In this paper, we obtain bounds on parity-check digits of a code that corrects 2-repeated bursts of length or less in a block of length and 2-repeated bursts of length or less in a block of length A parity-check matrix of a linear code over that corrects all 2-repeated bursts of length 3 or less in a block of length 14 and 2-repeated bursts of length 2 or less in a block of length 10 has also been constructed.
