MODELLING THE GENERATION/TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY
In this paper, we have developed two models namely, electricity generation and electricity distribution models. The multiple linear regression model was used to establish a relationship among the cost of energy (Qy), the actual money realized from the electricity consumers (X1) and ATC&C losses (X2). Both the adequacy test and ANOVA test indicated that the business was not doing well. There is a need to change strategy, especially on the collection of revenues from those consumers. The developed regression model can also be used to forecast for the performance of the business in future.
