SOLVABILITY AND POLYCYCLICITY OF GROUP OF IA-AUTOMORPHISMS
For a finite polycyclic group with derived series that has cyclic factors of prime order, the group IA(G) of all IA-automorphisms of the group G is itself polycyclic. This result was proved by Ghumde and Ghate [3]. In this paper, we prove the same result without using the condition of finite group and here we also obtain sufficient condition for IA(G) to be solvable.
