The aim of this research is to study the relationship between energy consumption and price through economic variables of agricultural sector in Iran during 1367-1393 H.Sh. To achieve this goal, Kalman filter approach and parameter estimation via variable coefficients were used to achieve this purpose and the model considered for added value, agricultural labor force, and exports in agriculture sector is a both-sided logarithmic function in which the effective variables are price and energy consumption in agriculture sector.

The results of the model estimation showed that the price and energy consumption variables in agricultural sector had positive and significant effect on added value of agricultural sector. Kurtosis of agricultural labor force to energy consumption and price have been reported positive and significant. Furthermore, variables of energy price and energy consumption in agricultural sector have positive and significant effects on the amount of agricultural exports.
