YARROW, THE HEALING MILFOIL
Woolly yarrow milfoil (family Compositae) has its origin and distribution in Europe and East Asia. Both the plant height and width are 30-60cm. The color of its flower and leaves is of ornamental interest. The flowers are red, orange, pink, yellow, white, and cream. Yarrow is an herbaceous, perennial herb with an upright stalk with white or yellow compound clusters appearing at the end of the stems and branches. The leaves of this plant are lanceolate, with two to three branches and achene-like fruits. It grows in different parts of Europe and Asia. In this article, the author attempts to explain the uses of this plant in the prevention and treatment of diseases.
