ESTIMATING COSTS OF MAINTENANCE SERVICE POLICY USING STEP-STRESS PARTIALLY ACCELERATED LIFE TESTING FOR LINDLEY DISTRIBUTION UNDER TYPE II CENSORING
The policy of maintenance service plays a main role to assist any manufacturing organization to make the cost of its equipment’s maintenance effective. Thereupon, we need to estimate the costs of maintenance service policy. The partially step-stress accelerated life test is assumed when the lifetime of test units follows a Lindley distribution. According to Type II censoring, the maximum likelihood estimates (MLEs) of the model parameters are obtained. In addition, estimators’ confidence intervals (CIs) are obtained. Finally, simulation study is conducted to find out the accuracy of MLEs for the model parameters and to explain the theoretical results.
