IMPLEMENTATION OF A SIMULINK BASED MODEL FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC OF SQUIRRELCAGE INDUCTION MOTORS
This paper describes a generalized model for fault diagnostic of squirrel cage motors and its computer simulation using Simulink. After development of mathematical equations for the modeling, constructional details of various sub-models of the motor are given and their implementation in Simulink is outlined.
The induction motor is then simulated in the Simulink environment. Based on the analysis of the time responses, a comparison study of results of the healthy motor and the deflect motor is done.
