In this paper, a new extension of inverse Weibull distribution called the Type II Topp-Leone inverse Weibull (TIITLIW) distribution is introduced. Some of its statistical properties are calculated. The behavior of its density and cumulative function is shown graphically. Moreover, the maximum likelihood (ML) estimation is derived to estimate the unknown parameters of the TIITLIW model. Also, the flexibility of the TIITLIW model is evaluated by using the two real data sets.
