Interpreting digital images in multiple domains to extract relevant information is sometimes difficult because of the quality of the images which is sometimes poor. The restoration of these images is often necessary. In this work, we used an unconventional restoration method based on the solution of a one-dimensional reaction-diffusion equation. This method, in addition to well restore the used image, also allows predicting the time limit of restoration.
