SOME SMALL-SQUARING PROPERTIES FOR NEAR-RINGS
Motivated by a group-theoretic result of G. A. Freiman, we define a near-ring N to be a Freiman near-ring if for each 2-subset A of N, the cardinality of A2 is at most 3. We study additive and multiplicative commutativity for various classes of Freiman near-rings.
