FINITE TIME BLOW-UP IN A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF SUB-ATOMIC PARTICLE OSCILLATIONS

Abstract:

We consider a nonlinear oscillator which has the property that all of its bounded periodic motions are simple harmonic. The oscillator is a mathematical model for sub-atomic particle oscillations arising in elementary particle theory.
