In this paper, we investigate the diffusion process called diffusion with retention. We show that, in fact, the process with retention is nothing more than the known process of diffusion with hesitation or diffusion with stay. We have also shown that the BG model is, in fact, a particular case of the Myers model for the study of thin films with high surface tension. In addition, we discuss the validity of the multi- flux interpretation of BG model.
