In this paper, with the help of symbolic computation system Maple and Riccati equation expansion method and a linear variable separation method, a new family of traveling wave solutions of the  -dimensional dissipative Zabolotskaya-Khokhlov equation (DZK) is derived. Based on the derived solitary wave solution, some novel kind wave excitations are investigated.
