An augmented graded ring is a graded ring such that R_e is also graded and the other components are cyclic R_e-modules with generators possessing certain properties. In this paper, we investigate a number of augmentations of an augmented graded ring, we provide minimum requirements of a graded ring to be an augmented graded ring. Also, we present an algorithm that builds augmented graded rings for special gradations of graded rings.
