Abstract: This paper considers a square plane D
with side length L. The boundary surfaces along and are insulated, while the heat
fluxes along boundary surfaces and are unknown. Using Green’s
functions, least square method, and temperature recordings by thermocouples
inside the boundary, the unknown heat fluxes on the boundary will be estimated
numerically.
