Abstract: This paper presents an exact analysis of unsteady
dispersion of solute in an MHD flow through a vertical channel. The effects of
radiation on dispersion coefficients are studied. For different values of
magnetic parameter (M) and Rayleigh
number (Ra), the dispersion
coefficients and decrease with increase in radiation
parameter (F). Also, the dispersion
coefficient increases slowly for smaller values
of and then increases rapidly with
increase in It is also seen that dispersion
coefficient increases with increase in time and then levels off to the
asymptotic value
