THE PRESSURE OF THE HISTORIC SET FOR ERGODIC AUTOMORPHISMS OF ABELIAN GROUPS
In this paper, we study the pressure of the historic set for ergodic automorphisms of the compact metric abelian groups. We show that either the historic set of a compact metric abelian group is empty or it carries full pressure for an ergodic automorphism. In particular, our result holds for the k-dimensional torus.
