HYDROMAGNETIC FREE CONVECTIVE FLOW PAST A VERTICAL PLATE MOVING WITH TIME DEPENDENT PLATE VELOCITY
This paper presents an analytical study of MHD free convective flow past a vertical plate moving with time dependent plate velocity in a porous medium in presence of thermal diffusion and chemical reaction. The equations governing the flow are solved analytically by adopting Laplace transform technique in closed form. The effects of various flow parameters involved in the problem on the velocity field, temperature field, concentration field, coefficient of skin friction at the plate and the coefficient of heat and mass transfer in terms of Nusselt number and Sherwood number at the plate are demonstrated graphically.
