CONTROLLING CHAOS IN OPTICAL FIBER USING TIME-DELAY FEEDBACK CONTROL METHOD
In this paper, we apply the 0-1 test for chaos detection in nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS). It is well known that the NLS equation can model very well the process of fiber optic signal transmission. Under external perturbations, this often behaves chaotic-like. Since chaos is extremely sensitive in small perturbation, we apply the time-delay feedback control method to achieve chaos control in the dynamical system equation. As a result, the system is stabilized on period-1,2 orbit and the asymptotic growth of the mean square displacement is
