A TWO DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS MODEL OF GLUCOSE AND INSULIN IN DIABETIC HUMANS DURING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
In [1], a mathematical model of glucose and insulin in diabetic human has been developed. It is governed by system of two ordinary differential equations where two compartments have been taken into account: one for glucide another for insulin. We introduce a time delays to this model to describe the time between controls (Heart rate and alveolar ventilation) of cardiovascular-respiratory system and the reaction of plasma glucose and insulin sensitivity during physical activity. The numerical simulation has been done to test the response of controls to variation of trajectories of plasma glucose and insulin sensitivity.
