COLLOCATION METHOD WITH CUBIC TRIGONOMETRIC B-SPLINE ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING COUPLED BURGERS’ EQUATIONS
In this article, cubic trigonometric B-spline (CTB) functions are used to set up the collocation method for finding solutions of a coupled system of Burgers’ equation with appropriate initial and boundary conditions. The method is shown to be unconditionally stable by using von-Neumann concept. To test accuracy, the error norms, are computed. The results are found to be in good agreement with known solutions and with existing schemes in literature.
