CONSTRUCTION OF FOUR ASSOCIATE CLASS PBIB DESIGNS USING PAIRING IN TRIPLETS SYSTEM

Abstract: A new series of four associate class partially balanced incomplete block (PBIB) designs using triplets system denoted by is introduced in this paper. Here, we consider limited number of blocks with fixed replications. Four associate PBIB designs are constructed for two replicates with six blocks each. For the construction of blocks of new designs, we paired the symbols of triplets with symbols of initial triplet under various conditions and the corresponding association scheme is based on occurrence of treatment pairs. Illustration of construction of new series of four associate class PBIB designs, efficiency factors of four kinds of comparisons and overall efficiency factor in tabular form are also given at the end of the paper. |
