PREDICTION UNDER BIVARIATE GENERALIZED EXPONENTIAL DISTRIBUTION

Abstract: Ateya and Al-Alazwari [1] introduced a multivariate form of generalized exponential distribution (GED), which is introduced by Gupta and Kundu [2]. The joint density function, conditional density function and the estimations of all parameters, using the maximum likelihood and Bayes methods, are introduced.
In this paper, we used the point of view, introduced by Al-Hussaini and Ateya [3], to obtain the Bayesian prediction intervals (BPI’s) of future observations from bivariate GED. |
