NEW CHARACTERIZATIONS OF QUASI-DISCRETE (QUASI-CONTINUOUS) MODULES
Let Rbe a ring with identity. Then a right R-module Mis called aQ-module if for any and yields It is shown that a module Mis quasi-discrete if and only if Mis an amply supplemented Q-module. Dually, a right R-module Mis called a P-module if for any and yields We prove that a module Mis quasi-continuous if and only if Mis a P-module.
