D- AND A-OPTIMAL ALLOCATIONS IN A MULTIPOINT GROUPED LOGIT DESIGNED EXPERIMENT

Abstract: A- and D-optimality criteria for designing an experiment under a logistic regression set-up are discussed. Here the design points are assumed fixed and the paper looks at results for 2-5 design points. Both analytical and computer search results are provided under the two optimality criteria. The efficiency issues under equal allocation are given a close look. The results indicate that, though equal allocation is not optimal, it is generally a practical solution in most cases. |
