Abstract: In this paper, we consider examples of the Peirce decomposition of simple balanced generalized Jordan triple systems of second order associated with Lie algebras. By virtue of choice of a tripotent element for these triple systems, we can realize the decomposition without using the root systems of Lie algebras. |
