Abstract: Response surface methodology is widely used in analysis of experiments in which the yield of a product depends in some unknown fashion on one or more controllable variables. The technique is majorly used for developing, improving and optimization of process in chemical industry, engineering, agriculture and biotechnological process. The technique permits a response surface to be fitted easily and provides spherical information contours. In this paper,a construction method of coded five level second order rotatable designs using an infinite class of supplementary difference sets is presented. The construction method produces a new class of spherical second order rotatable designs that attains the desirable property of rotatability. |
