A REMARK ON THE HOMOCLINIC ORBITS OF LIENARD SYSTEMS WITH INVARIANT CURVES
In this paper, the necessary and sufficient condition in order that a Lienard system has homoclinic orbits globally is discussed by using the existence of the invariant curves. The result is given in the simple form by the geometric properties. It shall be shown that the positions of the invariant curves on the phase space play an important role in the existence of homoclinic orbits. Finally, our results will be applied to concrete systems by the easy discriminant.
